DEVELOPMENT: ARCO/Murray completes new four-story Snapbox Storage facility in Monroe, CT. Developed in partnership with repeat client Asset Realty & Construction Group, the 99,600 SF Class A property features 679 climate-controlled units, an exterior loading dock and a 1,000 SF leasing office. Located along Monroe Turnpike (Route 111), the facility includes three above-grade levels and one below-grade level. Peter Simmons served as project manager, while Superintendent Steve Price led day-to-day construction and field operations.

DEVELOPMENT: DXD Capital opens new Class A self-storage facility in Richmond, VA. Located at 615 Mitchell Street, the three-story property spans 105,900 SF and features 890 climate-controlled units with three levels of drive-up access. Extra Space Storage will manage the facility, which was built by Evans Construction Inc. and designed by SAA Architects, Inc. DXD Capital Managing Director of Construction Scott Hughes highlighted the project’s ground-up development in Richmond’s growing residential and commercial corridor near the Diamond District and Virginia Commonwealth University and Virginia Union University.

EXPANSION: STORE Management expands into the Minneapolis-St. Paul market with STORE on Vicksburg in Plymouth, MN. The company assumed management of the stabilized, Class A facility at 15755 32nd Ave. N. in May 2026, marking its first operating presence in Minnesota. The property offers climate-controlled and drive-up units, indoor and elevator-access storage, vehicle storage, heated loading areas, and individually alarmed units. STORE Management Managing Director of Operations Ashley Reyes is leading the company’s operational approach as it expands its third-party management platform beyond Arizona and California.

DISPOSITION: Area Storage Advisors sells Rupp’s Indoor & Outdoor Storage in Stacy, MN. Built in 2022 on a 12.3-acre site near Interstate 35, the facility totals 47,325 RSF and includes 193 storage units and 21 RV, boat and vehicle parking spaces, with approved plans for future expansion. Alex Ihrke exclusively represented the local ownership group and procured the buyer, with support from Nathan Gottlieb and Tom Flannigan. The property was acquired by a local and national self-storage operator.
