EXPANSION: West Coast Self-Storage of Vancouver expands facility in Vancouver, Washington. The major expansion at SE 164th Avenue location in Vancouver increased total capacity to 885 units across 77,472 SF. The project, constructed by Perlo Construction, added 417 units and 32,040 SF, along with upgraded amenities including heated storage, drive-up access, elevators, and enhanced security systems. Kevin Pinkstaff said the expansion strengthens the facility’s ability to serve growing demand in East Vancouver and surrounding communities.

ACQUISITION: Marcus & Millichap arranges the sale of Provo Mini Storage in Provo, Utah. The 24,143 SF facility includes 480 units on 1.91 acres and has been converted from flex industrial space into a professionally managed self-storage asset operated by CubeSmart. Jordan Farrer and Adam Schlosser represented the seller, a local developer, and the buyer, an out-of-state private investor.

DEVELOPMENT: Shadowbrook Capital secures construction financing for a new Extra Space Hillsborough self-storage development in Hillsborough, New Jersey. The 709-unit, 76,119 SF facility at 35 Bedle St. is scheduled for completion in 2027, with operations to be managed by Extra Space Storage. Michael Klein, Nazario Paragano, and Michael Donohoe of JLL Capital Markets arranged the financing through Provident Bank on behalf of the borrower.

FINANCING: Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation arranges $12M in financing for two self-storage properties in Florida City and Hiram. The assets, operated by Compass Self Storage, total 133,150 SF across both Southeast markets. Doug Brooks of MMCC secured a five-year financing package through a national investment firm on behalf of a development and management company specializing in self-storage.
