DISPOSITION: EquiCap Commercial completes the sale of the KO Storage – Bonne Terre Portfolio, a two-property self-storage portfolio in Bonne Terre, Missouri. The portfolio, located at 7510 Carzon Road and 25 Oak Street, totals 77,365 NRSF across 395 units on 19.26 acres. The assets include 368 drive-up storage units, 24 parking spaces, and three warehouse/office spaces and were operating at strong occupancy at the time of sale. Alex Erbs and Marla Čolić of EquiCap Commercial handled the transaction, with Marla Čolić acknowledging all parties involved in the successful closing.

DISPOSITION: Versal completes the sale of Double Horn Boat & RV Storage in Spicewood, Texas. The property includes 40,610 NRSF across 60 storage units, 60 covered parking spaces, and 53 uncovered parking spaces. The asset was 93% occupied at the time of sale and includes approximately 3.5 acres of expansion land with frontage along State Highway 71. The sale adds a well-performing boat and RV storage facility in the Texas Hill Country with significant future expansion potential.

DEVELOPMENT: Newcor Commercial Real Estate completes a new self-storage facility at 11110 Hufsmith Road in Tomball, Texas. The project totals 87,970 NRSF on 5.1 acres and includes 617 units consisting of 510 climate-controlled units, 93 non-climate-controlled units, and 14 dedicated boat and RV storage spaces. RightMove Storage will operate the facility. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on June 17, with a larger grand opening celebration planned for the fall.

DEVELOPMENT: UTEX Storage Partners breaks ground on a new self-storage facility in east Chula Vista, California, years after receiving project approval. The development will deliver 1,284 storage units across two three-story buildings totaling 120,000 SF, along with boat and RV storage, on a 9-acre site near State Route 125 and Eastlake Drive. Residents, including Danetza Esparza and Matt Learned, raised concerns about construction impacts and the loss of open space. City spokesperson Mirella Leung Lopez said the project completed public review and environmental approvals before construction began.
